Wednesday
Seven oh two.
No one
wants to say goodbye to the man with a cigarette in his eye,
A triangle
for a nose and two large ears.
He smiles,
he smiles, he smiles.
Light shines
through when he enters the room.
Doesn’t
matter how much money you have, smiles are free.
Start to
send a message, between your teeth is a word, a verb.
Every human
can see it.
Happiness
lies in a homeless man’s face.
It is Wednesday.
As I sit I try
to find the biggest rain drop yet,
Cars fly by in
slow motion, only to splash in puddles.
The day smells
new, it is just beginning.
She has a
secret and she put it in the old man’s pocket.
Finger nails
grow, turn old as well, turn into dust.
See months disappear
before we see change.
She hands me a
beer.
It is Wednesday.
i'm alive.
i hope you are happy with where you are now.does she line your clothes up for you the night before?
i hope the rain drops slow, like it does on mars.
why are you so nice? does she drink her water with ice?
does the sun shine on your brown skin like the days of July?
remember the toad we caught together that evening?
does she like to sing the worms goodnight?
when the stars shine, can you see her soul?
i hope you smile every morning you rise.
the sparrow will bless your day, as each goes.
do you like the sand in between your toes?
i hope she shows you the universe through blind eyes.
Thursday
THE TOAD WITH ONE EYE.
The man who didn’t know how to rhyme
He wasted my time, now I’m short a dime.
Fast, watch out, here comes a lime.
Trees grow from under, the sea grows at
The top, of a bridge sits a bird with a lollipop.
Hum to me you bumblebee, small yet strong.
I see that women, her neck is long.
Toss the salad with a tong, and
Eat the cucs till they’re gone.
Monday
Sunday
Thursday
the color maroon.
Don’t forget about your grandma.
Clothes on the line,
They so high. The birds fly by.
Bring the lamp on your way by.
Don’t be mad because it’s Thursday.
Love it, cus tomorrow is a different day.
We can’t tell time between space and life.
But the note in my back pocket has your
Name on it. Don’t wear blue to her funeral.
Salt poured over her tears, life is short.
It also hurts, cover your heart
With a metal shield. Don’t invite
the girls in.
