Friday

I can’t help it, I fall in love with everyone I meet.

Everyday, I’m just human.

Fell asleep under the old cemetery tree last night,
Woke up covered in snow, the sun peaked through
The trees and sad clouds. Skeleton Birds brought
Me breakfast, and a dead man made me coffee.
I danced my morning away with my dead Dad,
And then we laid down together under the
old cemetery tree. I never want to wake up.

JOHN WAYNE.

Sometimes words erase feelings
And sounds overwhelm me.
Faint as a feather, the little things
Give me hope. Horses in bed
With bottles of beer and cigarettes.
Let’s watch the evening news
Together and bomb our brains.

Rocks and waves that crash.

You want to feel me breathe?
Just bend down to the river’s edge
And take that all in. That’s all me.

A truth about me.

To be free to love me
There are lines on my hands
That lead to South River.
There are thoughts in my
Mind that sing good together.
Strings of lights and lights of
Glory- set me free to love
All and all to love me.
I can’t be contained to one
Room, one human, one love.
I love everything. I love
Everyone. Good or bad.
White or Black. I love
Everyone, and that’s
A fact.
