Thursday

mountain minds.

Promising you whispers of summer
While the sun eats our time
We dance until the end

With nothing in my pocket
But a poem, wrap your mind
Around an orange and peel that

Don’t waste my time
Don’t ask for my permission
As for my soul is not present

As we swallow this harsh winter
Promises disappear in the cemetery
While the dead speak softly
