Slowly Wilting Away   

Why do you make time stop?

 As I glance over,

                             I fall end over

Two heels into those amethyst eyes.

That smile. I can’t take it. I can't hide.

You can steal my dreams, you can hold my heart- 

but

     Please don’t forget to

 show me the way home….as I forgot my ways.

          How can you control my thoughts?

When I’m with you, nothing is blue...

    Even the sea seems different with us in between.

Cherish every seed we plant,

   Time spent and words exchanged.

My soul is too weak, to conquer this week

Without you by my side.
