POEM

devils have friends too you know
the road is too long to end
back stone leads the way
yelling at a yellow moon
tell the truth god of Pluto
do humans really love or do they just think they love
I need to know oh I need to know
Suspense kills me on a Monday night
The twilight zone, Milky Way and mars.
Love is all humans know.

poem.
Running on the rail road tracks past midnight
The sun exists between us. Knots kept the ocean
Afloat. Rainy day love, white wine, you are all mine.
Thoughts in my mind, you knock just in time.
please come in.

poem
I catch myself drowning in love
Sometimes my heart sings
Life is beautiful outside our red window
Birds talk to each other
While I dance along
Love brings us together.
And makes us feel good
Sing a song that brings smiles to all
Sing a song of love
Mountains grow deep but love is what will sink.

Tuesday

HUSH

No one cares that your rent is due on the first every month
And no one cares that you have to pay for water.
No one cares that your dentist appointment is today
And no one cares that you hit a home run.
No one cares when your father passed away
And no one cares that you are sad today.
No one cares that your car didn’t start this morning
And no one cares that you are late.
Life goes on.
We don’t care about your shitty day.
The world still spins around and the days come and go.
So stop with the excuses.
No one cares.

KIWI MAKES ME SMILE.

I’m broke like the church window and my mother thinks I am hosting dinner.
Tonight will consist of poetry bubble baths and local brews.
The sun hasn’t been out in over a month, and my depression is kicking back in.
I see the world in front of my brown eyes but what do i see?
A kid with no mother and a dog with no owner.
I see a failing industry for the struggling artist.
The streets are clean after three am.
But I still don’t know how many to rsvp and I owe my neighbor five dollars.
The point of the moon is too see the future and the grass is greener there.
Carts full of roses and carts full of baby ducks. Which left should I take?
The one in front of me or the one behind?
Please help!

Thursday

I know this makes no sense.

Her lips remind me of Sue’s hips
And her mind reminds me of mine.
The way she looks out to sea, makes
Me happy as can be. Her nose reminds
Me Thursdays and her eyes make
Me feel death. The color of thoughts
scatter across the field of children.

POEM.
Loose goose
My mind is loose.
My arms are hanging free.
My heart may explode.
Loose goose.
My eyes are dry.
My legs are tired.
My mind is loose.
Loose goose.
