POEM

A Queen with an ambiguous mind

    Slender fingers

    Slender lips

Maleficent

  Only to pacify the King

  She would

Boil her gypsy soul

to camouflage

Sunken feelings

     And aromas

The wicked wind

Rubs against nostalgic

Impressions

Sparking tongues to

Touch the FULL MOON

I love you

  Plus ten years

        Through Winters,

even through the city

   only to sacrifice a bird

in return for a Boy’s heart

as my body crawls to the Crescent Moon

day in and day out

    searching….

Vulnerable minds, sunrises.

    A subconscious ribbon

         ties together
