Tuesday

I seek sunshine on
  Gray days
I seek love in the
Middle of a storm

I seek warmth
From the dead of
Winter

Eating goodbyes
Is not the way to
Watch the Ocean
Take the Tide

Someone

 Just grab me
  By my wrist
And hold tight
Tell me the sky
Will sing
 songs that
Can set me free

Please kiss my
Forehead and
Just hold me tight

To feel someone’s
Heart beat between
Mine

  Is similar to the
Feelings stored
In my mind where
We used to share time-

Come find me
Before the
Earthworms eat
My Mind

Can I lick the nectar
  That slowly drips
From your bottom lip

 When you lecture me
On love?

Your mouth speaks
    Beautiful melodies
Even the oldest man might
    Not  know of

Seeking the night so
I can cry in the dark
Silence is my only friend
(black like my heart)

As my soul sinks to
The bottom of my
H U M A N   B O D Y

I begin to sing
The songs of
Trees and bees
I BLINK.

Throw away our dreams
The house we created
    Full of tears and pain
          Blood and sweat
Love and lies-

Throw the dreams
To the fire
For tomorrow is here
And I can’t take
The sound

Any longer
      Just need time to
Myself now,
Need to
Find the elevator
Ladies
And the
Truth
About love
Cus
I’m empty
And I’ve fallen
Hard for every
Person I’ve met
So far
And it’s only
T u e s d a y.

she

She likes it when it’s cold outside

Where the wolves dance
By the river and the
Sky bleeds some kind of black
She loves to wear
Hats in the summer and
Dresses in the winter
Can’t eat –
The taste of life kills her

She sings love to death
Every night before
She soaks her soul
In an ashtray full of hate
And cigarettes

She wears only black lipstick
Even on the hottest days,
   Has pretty hair but
Doesn’t give a damn how it looks

Sunglasses to cover
The lies and demons
That sit in her brown eyes

Like a snake
Lying low in the grass  waiting
For the next best thing

Don’t let her lips fool you

Nothing here but
A crescent Moon
Kind of girl.

Trust me, you can’t handle her-
   no one can.

Can’t stand the fog
  Standing alone,

With daydreams,
That only haunt my
Winter Nights

To think of a peaceful
Place, is to dream of nonsense
        Happiness seems true,
  But I’ve never found it
Since the moss on the rock grows

I know there is more to this life,
Than what you’ve shown-

Not to smell like a wilting rose
On a January Morning-
But the sun can still shine even if
It’s the color of an orange rind
