Sunday

bring your cities too.

stumbling down the street where we first met.
the women and the men lay on the pavement.
they make room for me, dancing in the middle
of the streets. i can feel you with every move
that i make on this, foggy August night.
But remember us? Remember when we danced
in the rain? Or the first time we kissed?
I can still taste you on my lips, I just wanted us
I think I dream bigger than your whole heart.
and I think about silly things. Things that
no other being should. All I know
is that Love lives here, and we can make it.
The River flows, where the sadness ends.
Don't be afraid my darling, I can hold you
till forever. If you want to die, die here
in my arms. Scream my name so I know.
If you fear the loss of Rain you can
see me in the Midnight Sky.
